CrossCode by RadicalFish Games, released in 2018, is a story-based rpg puzzle game about a character named Lea who has lost her memory and tries to get it back by playing an online video game called CrossWorlds, where she slowly discovers who she really is.
The game stands out for its extensive storyline that accompanies you through the entire game and its expansions, along with its detailed character design, each character having their own storyline that is slowly revealed. The entire story is accompanied by a wonderfully crafted soundtrack and a cute pixel style that is reminiscent of the old SNES games with its very contrasting colors. Almost every side character you meet in the game has some often funny dialogue.
